Presidential candidate of the main opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, has launched the party’s Youth Manifesto, pledging to support digital startups and train one million young Ghanaians in coding.
“We are committed to supporting digital start-ups and incubation hubs…to unlock your potential for sustainable development,” Mahama said in a speech monitored by Metro TV.
He emphasized that the Mahama and Naana Jane administration envisions a future where every young Ghanaian has the opportunity to thrive in the digital age.
Mahama’s promise aligns with this year’s International Youth Day theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development”.
The NDC Youth Manifesto aims to empower youth through digital entrepreneurship and innovation.
