Men in military uniform allegedly raid Ken Ofori- Atta’s home

A group of people, some of whom were dressed in police and military uniforms, stormed former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta’s home Tuesday afternoon.

Ofori-Atta was allegedly abroad when the event took place in Cantonments. His wife was among the family members in attendance at the time.

About 12 people, five dressed in military uniforms, one in a police outfit, and the others in civilian clothes, are said to have carried out the operation.

According to sources, Ofori-Atta notified the Chief of Staff and has been in the United States since early 2025 for medical reasons.

It’s still unknown why the raid was conducted.

The 12 people in uniform and plain clothes entered the building, according to Metro TV sources, but it is unclear if anything was taken.

Regarding the incident, authorities have not released an official statement.
