The Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has supported the Teshie Children’s Home with an unknown amount of cash to assist their operations.
The donation forms part of his relentless effort to put smiles on the face of people, especially the vulnerable. According to Dr. Opoku Prempeh, these children also deserve to smile and enjoy the parental care their fellow children receive at home.
The donation was made on the 18th of October, 2024, as he continues to contribute his widowsmite to society and it also included assorted items to keep the home running.
The Teshie Children’s Home has over 50 children under its care, ranging between the ages of two and twenty-five, and this donation is expected to help cater for their expenses like proper accommodation, education, food and shelter.
The management of the Children’s Home praised Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s benevolence and philanthropic character, calling it a deed worthy of remembrance and emulation.
