John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress flagbearer, has charged that President Akufo-Addo is willfully neglecting development projects in constituencies where the NDC has the backing of the majority of those voting.
The former president claimed that remarks made by President Akufo Addo during his visit to Mepe following the Akosombo Dam disaster and his latest remarks made during a courtesy call from Ekumfi chiefs demonstrate the divisive nature of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The NDC flagbearer stressed that an inclusive approach will be upheld by an NDC government led by him, guaranteeing a fair distribution of progress throughout the nation, during his two-day trip of the Eastern Region.
During his two-day tour of the Eastern Region, the NDC flagbearer emphasized that an inclusive approach will be upheld by an NDC government led by him, ensuring a fair distribution of progress throughout the nation.
He blamed this on what he saw as the Akufo-Addo administration’s emphasis on simply offering party delegates support when it came to issues of national development.
“I’m not surprised. When it comes to elections, we know where Krobo is. That’s why for the past eight years, the roads have not been developed. But as for the NDC, we don’t discriminate, whether you vote for us or not, we’ll ensure that every constituency enjoys the national development.”
