The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has cautioned Ghanaians against voting for the NDC, warning that they will cancel the Free Senior High School (SHS) program.
Speaking at the launch of the Campaign Working Committees and Women’s Conference in Kumasi, Dr. Prempeh interpreted NDC Flagbearer John Mahama’s promise to review Free SHS as a plan to cancel it.
Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, affectionately called Napo, said without any evidence that a vote for NDC means ending Free SHS, Teacher Ttraining allowances, and nursing training allowances.
He urged Ghanaians to protect these policies by retaining the NPP.
Dr. Prempeh also addressed economic concerns, highlighting global challenges but insisting the NPP has shielded Ghanaians from severe difficulties.
He emphasized the absence of power outages under President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia’s leadership.
