New minister of state, 13 deputy ministers sworn into office

Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba, Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms, and 13 other recently approved Deputy Ministers were sworn in by President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday, March 12, at the Jubilee House.

Among the newly appointed deputy ministers are the Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, Yussif Issaka Jaja, Deputy Minister for Finance; Thomas Nyarko Ampem; John Dumelo, Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways; and Alhassan Suhuyini, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Arts, and Culture.

The appointees were urged by President Mahama to serve diligently and protect the interests of the Ghanaian people.

He underlined the value of cooperation and dedication to the advancement of the country.

The newly sworn-in deputy ministers include:

-Justice Srem-Sai-Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General

-Ernest Brogya Gyenfi, Deputy Minister for the Defence Ministry

-Thomas Nyarko Ampem, Deputy Minister for Finance.

-Alhassan Suhuyini, Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways

-John Dumelo, Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture

-Dr Clement Apaak, Deputy Minister, Education

-Sampson Ahi- Deputy Minister, Trade, Agribusiness and Industry

– Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi, Deputy Minister for the Interior

-Richard Gyan-Mensah, Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition

-Yusif Sulemana, Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources

-Yussif Issaka Jajah, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts
