The National Third (3rd) Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Masawudu Osman, has praised the performance of the current administration.
He said the administration has done a great job of controlling the economy. He asserted that in spite of difficult circumstances like the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war, this was achievable.
“Without fear of controversy, I can state that the NPP has outperformed John Mahama in terms of economic performance ,”Alhaji Masawudu Osman told Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Adwenekasa on Original FM 91.9.
He pointed to various indicators to support his claim, stating, “In every area, we are superior: looking at dumsor, we (NPP) performed better; agricultural growth, industrial growth, roads and railways, hospitals, classrooms, fish landing sites, zongo development, court buildings, Ghana Card, digitalization, among others.”
Although he acknowledged the difficulties that still exist, he maintained that the NPP government has a far better track record than the NDC.
He went on to say that the NPP is prepared to confront the NDC to compare their records in these areas.
