NPP’s post-mortem must be ‘thorough, objective’ – Prof. Kwaku Azar

Legal scholar, Professor Stephen Asare, popularly known as Kwaku Azar, has called for a comprehensive and objective post-mortem analysis of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) recent election loss.

In a Facebook post sighted by Metro TV, Professor Azar emphasized the need for the post-mortem to be led by the party’s most capable minds, stating that it must be “thorough, objective, and led by the party’s most capable minds to uncover hard truths and chart a path toward a stronger future.”

He further stressed that the current leadership should not be involved in assembling the post-mortem team, suggesting that they should “ideally step aside in favor of an interim management committee to oversee the party’s affairs.”

Professor Azar also noted that the campaign teams have become functus officio, implying that they have fulfilled their purpose and should not interfere with the post-mortem process.
