NPP’s vice presidential candidate NAPO congratulates NDC on election victory

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice presidential candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, has congratulated the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on their victory in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

In a gracious concession speech, Dr. Opoku Prempeh stated, “To Ghanaians, we have heard you clearly and with humility we accept. We will work with you to get it right.”

He also expressed his gratitude to the Lord Almighty for the opportunity to serve his party and Ghana.

NAPO acknowledged the overwhelming support he received from the NPP leadership and thanked the party faithful, his team, family, and friends for their confidence in the ticket.

He also emphasized his belief in the NPP’s values, ideals, and traditions, and expressed confidence that the party will emerge stronger and bounce back to win the trust and confidence of Ghanaians.

The NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Dr. Opoku Prempeh have had extensive discussions to reflect on the outcome of the elections, and the party will conduct further introspection to identify the causes of their loss.
