Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba’s nomination as Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms, as well as 13 Deputy Ministerial nominees, has been confirmed by Parliament following Appointments Committee vetting.
Ernest Brogya Genfi, the deputy minister for defense, Thomas Nyarko Ampem, the deputy minister for finance, and Justice Srem-Sai, the deputy minister for the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, are among the approved deputy ministerial nominees.
The remaining individuals are Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways Alhassan Suhuyini, Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture John Dumelo, Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Clement Apaak, Deputy Minister of Education, Sampson Ahi, Deputy Minister of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi, Deputy Minister of the Interior, and Deputy Minister of Energy and Green Transition Richard Gyan-Mensah.
Their acceptance came after the Appointments Committee adopted its twelfth and thirteenth reports.
After being vetted by the Appointments Committee starting on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the House was advised to approve the nominees.
