President Mahama appoints Kofi Okyere Darko as Presidential Adviser on Diaspora Affairs

Famous media personality, fashion designer, and cultural ambassador Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) has been named Presidential Adviser on Diaspora Affairs by President John Dramani Mahama.

KOD has made a name for himself in Ghana’s entertainment and fashion sectors as the CEO of the apparel brand Nineteen 57 and the creator of the yearly fashion and music event Rhythms on Da Runway.

Fashion designer Ophelia Crossland is KOD’s spouse. He graduated with a Master of Arts in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Media, Arts and Culture, formerly the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).
