President Mahama appoints Prof Kobby Mensah as new CEO of Ghana Tourism Development Company

Prof. Kobby Mensah has been named the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Tourism Development Company Limited by President John Dramani Mahama.

Prof. Mensah, an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and a well-known authority in tourism marketing, brings a lot of knowledge and experience to his new position.

Throughout his career, Prof. Mensah has played a significant role in promoting tourism through a number of initiatives, such as the Destination Legon Tourism Marketing Exhibition, which combines industry experience with academia.

This appointment is expected to improve Ghana’s tourism development’s strategic direction and solidify the country’s standing as a popular travel destination.
