Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies, and his family have commissioned the ABG Water and Beverage factory and PurAID Drinking Water in Assin Amoabin of the Central Region.
This development is part of a larger plan to boost the local economy.
The project was undertaken in partnership with Pureco, a Hungarian firm, and was attended by notable figures including Central Regional Minister Mrs. Justina Marigold Assan, Member of Parliament for Assin South John Ntim Fordjour, and Hungarian Ambassador Tamás Fehér.
The Siaw Agyepong family also cut the sod for the construction of the ABG Community Center, named after their late mother, Agnes Boahemaa Gyimah.
Dr. Agyepong expressed his commitment to improving the economic prospects of Assin Amoabin’s residents through this three-in-one project.
This initiative aligns with the Community Water and Sanitation Agency’s (CWSA) goals to provide safe water and sanitation services to rural communities and small towns.
The project was facilitated by Sewerage Systems Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of the Jospong Group of Companies.
