Starlink to begin operations in Ghana by end of August – NCA

The National Communications Authority (NCA) announced that Ghana will introduce Elon Musk’s Starlink internet service by the end of August 2024.

The NCA claims to have finished all the licensing and administrative processes, enabling Starlink to provide its high-speed internet services across the whole country.

The NCA confirmed that Space X Starlink GH LTD, an affiliate of Musk’s SpaceX, will oversee the service in a statement issued on Thursday, August 22.

“Starlink will officially commence operations in Ghana by the end of this month (August, 2024). This follows the conclusion of all administrative and licensing procedures with the National Communications Authority (NCA).

“Starlink will be operated by Space X Starlink GH LTD,” the statement added.
