THERE’S NO NEED FOR A PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE BETWEEN MAHAMA AND BAWUMIA – HORACE NII AYI ANKRAH

Ghana’s Former Ambassador to China, Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah has vehemently stated that there is no need for a presidential debate between Former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2024 polls.

During an interview on Adwene pa Morning Show with Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Original TV, Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah indicated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has failed woefully as economist and has nothing to offer Ghanaians in every aspect of the economy.

He made reference to when former President Mahama went a whole year in 2016 without borrowing from the Central Bank as compared to the huge borrowing style of the new patriotic Economic Management team headed by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

He says it is disrespectful for Bawumia to call Former President Mahama to a debate.

He said: “even if you want to debate President Mahama on the Economy, Bawumia, tell me one thing you’ve been able to do to lay the fundamentals for digitalization to thrive in the country.” “They should show us what they want to do to enhance digitalization in order to tender to bid for”

Ghana’s Former Ambassador to China, Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah says Dr. Bawumia is seen not to be truthful and Ghanaians have lost interest in him as a presidential aspirant.
