The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Wednesday June 12, 2024 commissioned the first Smart School Block and commenced with the distribution of smart tablets to Senior High School students, at Opoku Ware School, in Kumasi.
He noted that, “The handover of the tablets and the commissioning of the Smart School Block are in fulfilment of a pledge by Government to, among others, provide an ICT-driven environment for teaching and learning for the next generation of Ghanaians by providing each student with an educational tablet.”
Dr. Bawumia has reiterated Government’s commitment to providing modern, quality education to students across the country.
