The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has on Sunday May 19 2024, received a rousing welcome in Wa as he commenced his tour of the Upper West Region, as part of his ongoing nationwide community outreach.
He has had fruitful interactions with the Wa Naa, Naa Fuseini Pelpuo IV and his elders, as well as the Imams in the region, where he shared his vision and policies for Ghana post-2024. They have also shared with him their suggestions to further enhance development in the country.
Dr. Bawumia has expressed appreciation to them saying, “I thank the Wa Naa and his elders for their equally warm reception and inspiration, as well as to the Imams, for the fruitful interaction we had.”
