ADDAI-NIMOH MOURNS DR. ANTHONY OSEI AKOTO

Hon. Francis Addai-Nimoh, a former Member of Parliament for Mampong and a contender in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearership contest, has expressed his deep sorrow at the passing of Dr. Akoto Osei.

Dr. Akoto Osei, a former Minister of State and Member of Parliament for the Old Tafo Constituency, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was a leading member of the NPP and a respected statesman who served Ghana with distinction.

In a statement, Hon. Francis Addai-Nimoh expressed his heartfelt condolences to Dr. Akoto Osei’s family and loved ones. He described the late statesman as a mentor and friend who inspired him in his political career.

Hon. Addai-Nimoh noted that Dr. Akoto Osei was a true patriot who dedicated his life to serving Ghana and promoting the NPP’s principles and values. He emphasized that Dr. Akoto Osei’s contributions to the Party and the nation would be deeply missed.

The former MP also praised Dr. Akoto Osei’s humility, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to his constituents and the nation. He urged Ghanaians to honor Dr. Akoto Osei’s memory by continuing to work towards the development and progress of the country.

Hon. Francis Addai-Nimoh also called on the NPP to come together in unity and solidarity in the wake of Dr. Akoto Osei’s passing. He urged Party members to honor his legacy by upholding the principles of hard work, dedication, and service that he exemplified throughout his life.
