The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that special voting for eligible applicants will take place on Monday, December 2, in all 276 constituencies at district police offices.
According to the EC, this special voting arrangement is for security services and media personnel who will be on duty on the day of the general elections.
In cases where the number of applicants exceeds the allowed limit, alternative arrangements will be made for another center.
All applicants must apply in person to the returning officer, while group submissions will be submitted to the district returning officer.
The EC chair, Jean Mensah, emphasized that eligible applicants who wish to transfer their votes must do so as soon as possible to avoid being disenfranchised.
This special voting arrangement is aimed at ensuring that all eligible voters are able to exercise their franchise on election day.
