The United Gadangme Caucus, a grassroot mobilisation group working assiduously to mobilise GaDangme people everywhere to vote for the NDC to win the upcoming general elections in December 2024.
The group took its mobilisation work to Tema East, Tema West, and Krowor constituencies over the weekend to inaugurate its constituency executives to work for agenda 2024 and beyond.
Over 500 people were gathered in all three events in the selected constituencies. They sang the NDC party anthem with such joy; filled with hope that come what may, the victory of JM is coming again.
Various speakers at the events mainly Hon. Nii Armah Ashietey and Hon. T. T. Caternor charged the crowds not to relent on their oars in building a formidable United GaDangme Caucus that will be a force to reckon with.
Hon Nii Armah Ashietey indicated that the United GaDangme Caucus will have branches in all 275 constituencies in Ghana. Plans are underway for branches in the United States of America, and UK and Ireland.
On his part, Hon. T. T. Caternor echoed the dying GaDangme languages and the lack of its teaching in Greater Accra schools. He bemoaned the concern of many GaDangme and non-GaDangme who would cherish the opportunity for their children to learn the languages. He hinted at plans by the United GaDangme Caucus to award scholarships to GaDangme people to study the languages at tertiary level to become GaDangme language teachers.
The Krowor Constituency event held at the main Nungua Lorry Park was a sight to behold as members and passengers awaiting to board transport to their various destinations looked on with admiration and later joined in dancing to the many ga tunes churned by the DJ. The quality of music got many singing or dancing or both.
The United Gadangme Caucus train is moving with focus. If it has not yet arrived at your constituency, watch out, it will soon be there.
