A house-to-house campaign strategy will be employed prior to the general elections of 2024, according to the campaign team of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Dr. Bawumia made this vow following his visit to the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, where he spoke with locals and market women.
During his two-day campaign tour in the Eastern Region, Dr. Bawumia presented his various ideas to restructure the country if elected to power.
The campaign team’s schedule calls for crossing into the Western Region to witness the Vice President take part in the Appiatse resettlement project’s commissioning.
To interact with voters, the team chose to stop in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency of the Greater Accra Region. The traveling squad was met by jubilant supporters at the Atomic Goil filling station.
Dr. Bawumia then toured several Taifa settlements and engaged with traders at the Dome market.
A member of the Bawumia campaign team Sammi Awuku explained that the goal of these appearances is to spread Dr. Bawumia’s message of optimism and a better future for Ghana after 2024.
According to Mr. Awuku, the tour has been motivating since people still have faith in the NPP’s capacity to handle local and global issues and enhance living conditions.
“This is happening and also to share his message of hope and a brighter future for the Ghanaian people beyond 2024. The tour has been awesome.
“Well in spite of even the challenges we are facing globally and locally, people are still confident that the NPP are better managers of the situation and the economy and they’re very confident that a Bawumia government will also improve their living conditions and more or less further the course of young people in the country.”
