Sarkodie Didn’t Pick My Calls For 2 Years- A Plus

Showbiz personality, A Plus has narrated an ordeal he went through reaching out to Sarkodie to continue an earlier conversation he had with him.

According to him, he called the rapper severally for 2 years but he never picked up his calls until they met at an event.

He made the allegation on UTV during a discussion on the issue of Sarkodie not replying to Samini’s messages.

“Nobody knows tomorrow. You don’t owe anyone but it is nice to be nice. I met Sarkodie in 2008, and I took him to Labadi. I was at Sarkodie’s house and his wife prepared yam and stew for us. It was so nice and almost tasted like my wife’s. We had a pending conversation, so I decided to call him. I have been calling him for the past two years and no response. Later, we met during an event at the under bridge and we had a conversation like nothing happened. Although I was pained, I understand that nobody owes anyone,” he indicated.

Sarkodie and Samini have been trending over the rapper’s refusal to reply to the reggae dancehall icon’s message.

Samini in a tweet weeks ago while responding to a fan said he was never going to work with Sarkodie henceforth. This was because Sarkodie refused to reply to his messages after their earlier chats about a feature.

After sending him the songs, he revealed that Sarkodie stopped replying to his messages. Samini said he felt disrespected.

Sarkodie however responded to the comment on a Hitz FM interview saying Samini’s utterances must have come from a “certain place” for which he would need more details.

“Him feeling like that, I don’t have any control over that. I can only say sorry about how he feels, not necessarily because I agree with everything he is saying, but because that’s how he feels,” Sarkodie indicated.

A lot of Ghanaians hold the view that Sarkodie didn’t treat Samini well. Most argue that he could have replied to Samini’s messages to let him know why he didn’t record his version of the song.

Shatta Wale added his voice to the brouhaha saying Sarkodie could have done better. A Plus is the latest to share his experience with Sarkodie.
